Description

 

DBLADE is our latest creation! We named it so, because of the design of its button. It looks like a double blade and “weighs” like the devil’s blade.

It is a mechanical mod, 100% handmade!!!

It consists of 6 pieces. Which are from top to bottom:

  • Its top cap, bearing the DBLADE mark as well as its serial number.
  • A double threaded derlin ring
  • The aluminum body with the 3 characteristic notches on each side
  • The aluminum button in the shape of a double blade (side fire button)
  • 1 neodymium magnet 3mm mounted on the bottom of the button
  • 1 neodymium magnet 2 mm mounted on the base of the inner tube.

 

Please note that:

  • Because we know how sensitive neodymium magnets are if they hit each other, we placed them carefully protected in 2 screw caps made of derlin. Each of these caps has 2 notches so that they can be screwed and unscrewed respectively with the help of a pair of tongs.
  • Two O-rings are placed inside the body tube to ensure on the one hand the correct distance between the button and the tube, and on the other hand to avoid creating scratches when rotating to lock the device.
  • Bearing in mind the safety of the user, a circular dig inside the top cap ensures the protection of the positive pole of the battery in case of fire without a vaporizer.

 

 

Its special features:

  • Double side fire in a way we have never seen before (we would like to believe!!!), pressing the upper notches, but also the middle ones (a little harder)
  • Easy locking. Through the third notch on the mod (the one closer to the base), we can rotate the inner part (the double sided fire button) so that it disappears from the two upper notches and can no longer fire!!
  • Adjust battery. It is a continuous contact mod which does not leave a gap when it is fully assembled, due to the presence of the two magnets inside the tube. They adjust the small differences that exist in the pins of the vaporizers and the batteries.
  • “Eject or not” battery mechanism. The derlin ring at the top of the mod insulates the top cap from the rest of the body. At the same time it gives you two options regarding the removal of the battery, because it has rides on both sides.
  1. If when unscrewing the lid you hold the derlin ring on the lid, then the battery will eject.
  2. If by unscrewing the lid you keep the derlin ring on the main body, then the battery will remain in the body, it will not eject and to remove it you have to shake it down, as the magnet holds it in place by the negative pole.
  • Removal of the magnets (for the squeaky cleaners!!) We have provided an easy way so that the lower magnet, which is difficult to access due to the depth of the tube, can be removed and repositioned. Taking advantage of the properties of magnets, we are following the next steps ( also watch the attached video):
  1. Unscrew the mod, remove the battery and the button (in the shape of a double blade).
  2. With a pair of tweezers using the special notches of the derlin disk that surrounds the magnet, unscrew it and remove it from the inside of the tube.
  3. When cleaning is completed, place the magnet we removed from the bottom of the tube on the magnet located on the bottom of the button with opposite polarity, so that they attract.
  4. Place the button with the two attached magnets inside the tube and give a couple of turns so that the lower magnet is partially screwed into the body of the mod. Finish screwing with a pair of tweezers, tightening it better.
  5. Finally, invert the magnet at the base of the button so that the two magnets are repelled.

* Note that the 3mm magnet is screwed onto the button and the 2mm is placed inside the tube.

 

Cleaning tips

For the proper maintenance of your mechanical mod DBlade, we suggest the following: You can clean it as often as you want with the use of a mild detergent, such as dish soap. A soft toothbrush would be ideal to reach points surfaces, points of contact, joints and coils. DO NOT USE erasers and Cleaning Wires, or polishing creams! DBlade does not present arching phenomena due to the construction material and the configuration of the surfaces at the contact points.
